Sure, Spaceship has the hardest bosses, but rooms are much scarier then bosses in badass. Varkolyn tentacles aren’t too bad in comparison to Type E Pirates or Flame Knight Captains, and they have much less health. IMO, while all 3 world 3 biomes are hellish (especially neo isle) Spaceship is probably the easiest of the three. Plus, there’s the biomes they’re used for. Fire damage from an explosion usually only leaves 1 tick from my experience, as opposed to the several -2s you’re dealing with when you get poisoned.

One goblin dart can severly cripple you in a badass run, due to the initial damage, plus the several ticks afterward. However, poison can be very, VERY deadly in badass. The main logic behind fire being the better choice is “Well, explosives are in every biome, and lava tiles in volcano suck” Now, I know a lot of people think fire is the better of the two, but I actually disagree.
